German rider Yannick Mittas of Baltic Riders brings full-send energy to Master of the Ocean. When conditions get radical, he sends it anyway, putting everything on the line for his team when it matters most.
Francis Gonzalez Martinez
Born and raised in Cabarete, Francis Gonzalez Martinez didn’t come up through surf schools—he carved his own path. Starting on handmade, finless boards, he learned balance, control, and flow directly from the ocean, day after day. That raw, self-taught foundation helped turn him into a standout competitor and multi-category winner at Master of the Ocean, representing not just elite skill, but a deep, lifelong connection to the sea.
