About Us
Since 2014, Happy Dolphins — a nonprofit organization — has been working closely with the coastal communities of the Dominican Republic’s north shore. Our mission is to connect local youth with the ocean through training in lifesaving, swimming, and water sports.
Our vision is to foster a new culture of water safety by becoming a national leader in international lifesaving certification and training. Through water sports and meaningful job opportunities, we inspire young people to build a
lasting bond with the ocean.

COMMUNITY DAY
Community Day is the sustainability highlight of the Master of the Ocean event! 🌊 Over 200 local children from the north shore, along with others from near and far, join in for a day full of fun, environmental activities aimed at promoting ocean loving. The agenda features Happy Dolphins DR lifesaver demonstrations, lively youth merengue and bachata bands, plenty of dancing, and an exciting Caribbean Carnival parade on the beach with instruments, flags, and colorful festivities.
Thanks to the legendary Brian Talma (Master of the Ocean 2023 titleholder and creator of the Beach Culture World Tour project), we bring even more energy and excitement to the event. 🎉 The community market showcases unique Larimar, amber, and other original jewelry, along with recycled products, delicious food, and exotic arts and crafts.
Plus, for those seeking relaxation and wellness, enjoy activities like yoga on the beach and luxurioParadeus massages while relishing in the sound of the waves.
Don’t miss this unforgettable day of unity, celebration, and community spirit!
